Thinking of Chicken....

I was walking on the Dartford marshes, near where I live a couple of weeks back and I found this amazing location. I believe it’s what is left of an old fireworks factory.
I knew I had to do a shoot over there!

I had been speaking to Wink about working together for some time, I was really excited to use this new location and she was looking to do something a bit different from the usual studio shoot.
Why "Thinking of Chcken..."?
Wink was used to being directed more by the photographers she has worked with in the past, I want to make these shots look as unposed as possible, so I just asked her to daydream and wander around the "set".


When I asked what she was thinking about, her response was "I was Thinking of Chicken....Nando's last night, KFC tonight...."

I think the formal dress contrasts with the battered surrounding just enough without it looking like an over the top cliché.

It would also make a great setting for Band Promo shoots.
